Controls
- Left thumb moves Gus, right thumb aims and fires. With auto-aim on (Settings), one thumb is enough: Gus fires at the nearest pest on his own.
- Game controllers work: left stick moves, right stick aims, the menu button pauses.
- Cooldown shows under Gus. Each weapon fires in bursts; the bar fills while it reloads.
The Full Game
- The first two jobs are free. The Full Game buys every other job, Night Shift and five extra weapons, forever, on all devices using your Apple ID.
- New phone, or the jobs are locked again? Tap Full Game on the title screen, then Restore. The unlock is tied to your Apple ID, not the device.
- Refunds are handled by Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com.
Saves and iCloud
- Progress saves on the device and mirrors to iCloud when iCloud is on for the game. On another device signed in to the same Apple ID, the copy with the most progress wins.
- Deleting the game deletes the local save. The iCloud copy survives and comes back on reinstall.
Game Center
- Achievements and leaderboards need Game Center, signed in from iOS Settings. The game plays fine without it.
- Night Shift's leaderboard is daily: one official run per day counts, practice runs don't.
Performance
- The game targets 60 frames per second with hundreds of pests on screen. If it stutters, close other apps, and turn off Screen Shake in Settings.
- Low Power Mode caps the frame rate on some devices.
Photosensitivity
The game has flashing effects (time stops, lightning, electric weapons). If you are sensitive to flashing lights, please don't play, and see the warning shown on first launch.
