Who Called Pest Control

Bugs, rats, zombies... just another Tuesday.

The job

You are Gus. Someone called about a few bugs in the kitchen. It was never a few bugs. Clock in, pick a weapon, and hold the line while hundreds of pests pour in from every side. Your gear levels up as you work, the pests get worse as the night goes on, and the final boss likes to make an appearance.

A comedy horror bullet heaven: one thumb to move, one to aim (or let Gus aim for himself), runs that fit in a coffee break, and a van full of upgrades waiting between jobs.

On the clock

Gus in Grandma's living room beside a brick fireplace, roaches coming through the door.
Grandma's House. There's something in the attic that sings at night.
Gus in a snowbound ski lodge living room with a pool table and a roaring fireplace.
Pinecrest Lodge. The guests think it's the Yeti.
Gus in a dark mansion study, roaches on the carpet.
The Caller's Address. Every job he sent you was his mess.
Gus in a lab sublevel with server racks and a glass door.
Helix Lab, Sublevel B. Please don't open any doors labelled Specimen.

Six calls

Grandma's House

"Hi, this is Edna. There's a few bugs in the kitchen."

Roaches, rats and the slow dead on a quiet street. Cash is under the mat. Wipe your boots.

The Sewers

"Dale here, sanitation. Bring boots. Taller than those."

Leeches, slime and whatever the city flushed. The work order came from a number nobody recognises.

Helix Lab, Sublevel B

"Small rodent issue on Sublevel B."

Mutant hounds, corrupted roaches and three things called Specimen Zero.

Restwood Cemetery

"Something keeps digging. From the inside."

Ghosts, ghouls and shadow stalkers between the pews. Don't touch the shovel.

Pinecrest Lodge

"The freezer door's been chewed open. From the inside."

Frost zombies, ice imps and snow crawlers in a blizzard. It's not the Yeti. Please tell me it's not the Yeti.

The Caller's Address

"You've been very efficient, Mr. Varga."

The last job. Bring the big sprayer.

Twenty tools of the trade

Start with a pump sprayer. Earn a nail gun, a trap launcher, a zapper racket, an industrial fogger, a cryo sprayer, a giant fly swatter and a hot glue gun. The Full Game adds a propane torch, a leaf blower, a pressure washer, a bug bomb launcher and a plasma swatter. Evolve them mid-job into the Nail Storm, the Bear Trap Mortar, Backdraft, the Tesla Racket, the Fumigation Tent and Absolute Zero. Pick passives as you level, and stack a trunk full of secondaries: glue trails, drones, bug lights and one very committed cat.
